The Ultra X Kenya 2027 will take place from 10 to 14 May 2027 in Laikipia County, Kenya, delivering one of the most unique multi-stage ultra marathon experiences. This five-day endurance race forms part of the global Ultra X series and covers approximately 220 km across remote Kenyan savannah landscapes. Competitors will run through protected conservancies featuring vast open plains, wildlife corridors, and scenic African wilderness terrain. As a multi-stage race, athletes must complete each daily stage, with overall rankings determined by cumulative time rather than a single final race. The event offers a rare combination of endurance sport and safari experience, where participants may encounter diverse wildlife while running through natural conservation areas. Known for its challenging distance, warm climate, and remote terrain, the race demands exceptional stamina, mental strength, and strategy. The Ultra X Kenya 2027 highlights the natural beauty of East Africa and reinforces Kenya’s position as a premier destination for international trail running and endurance racing. The event combines sport, conservation, and adventure tourism, attracting elite athletes and endurance runners worldwide seeking a true wilderness challenge in Africa. It stands as a benchmark of multi-stage ultra marathon excellence in global endurance sport and outdoor adventure racing.
